OUR MISSION
Chasetown Civil Engineering was established by Noel Sweeney in 1974. We remain a privately owned company leveraging the benefit of over 40 years of industry experience and insight. We keep our clients at the centre of everything we do, remaining true to the founding principles on which the business was established. We view each project as part of an on-going relationship with our clients, listening to their needs, working proactively and collaboratively and always striving to exceed their expectations.
A family-run business
Formed in 1993, Cameron Homes bring many years of valuable experience to the table. A lot has changed since then, but their commitment to first-class customer service and unrivalled quality has never faltered.
Continuing to thrive through challenging times for the housing market, dedication to the customer and determination to continually raise standards has been integral to their success.
Established in 2018 as a division of highly successful regional company Tara Developments, Keon Homes now works with Registered Providers, Local Authorities and other partners to build social housing, in addition to building homes for private sale and the private rental market.
Keon Homes has been set up with two teams who have a track record of working within the sector. With a combined 35 years of experience and a driving force to succeed, the directors will ensure that an outstanding service is delivered and where quality and best practice come as standard.
Our People
We can only succeed through our employees, who are our greatest asset. We take pride in the development of our employees to enhance the market-leading service which we provide to our clients. We are always looking for the best and brightest individuals to join us.

We have a first-class health and safety record, demonstrating our commitment to the safe operating environment which we provide to our employees – the health and safety of our site operatives clients is paramount. All of our operatives have CSCS/CPCS accreditation and all foreman have SSSTS and NRSWA accreditation.
The future
Although innovation and expansion have changed the face of Chasetown, our core values have remained constant. Trust, commitment, confidence, loyalty, competition and integrity. Our projects start at land viability stage to give clients advice on design and complex groundworks issues, and we reduce risk for our clients with fixed priced solutions.
Our Community
Our client base is broad and varied. We have strong and well established long standing relationships with local and national housebuilders, some of which date back to the formation of the company. The scale of our operations, combined with our founding principles, means that we are always able to deliver a solution, no matter how demanding, on-time and to our clients’ requirements. Chasetown has played an active role in the local area, facilitating the construction of a new Catholic Church, maintaining local primary schools, car parks for local businesses, plinths for town monuments, local football club sponsorship and the list goes on.
The Sweeney Foundation
The Sweeney Foundation is a charitable Trust, set up to support local communities in the West Midlands, carrying on the charitable works undertaken by the founder of the Tara Group, Noel Sweeney. Noel was the embodiment of philanthropy and generosity, always determined to ensure that the rewards of his extraordinary business skills and sheer hard work, would be available to help others less fortunate.
Alongside the support for many charitable organisations, we are strong supporters of the armed forces and proud to support the Armed Forces Covenant.
